A Global Manufacturing Company located in Southwest Indiana is looking for a Production Supervisor to support their Production. The ideal candidate will have experience with continuous improvement, equipment maintenance, project management, and pre-launch planning.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the production line and the members
Train and discipline employees
Ensure team is actively completing the department's development plan
Creation of production audits and documentation for upper management
Resolve issues as necessary (service, quality, cost, etc)
Ensure compliance to environmental and safety requirements (OSHA, etc.)
Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Need at least 2 years of related work experience
Must be able to work 3rd shift (night) working hours
Ability to work 1st shift for the first few weeks for training
Strong communication and leadership skills
· Must be able to work responsibly and effectively
· Must be able to perform some physical duties, such as lifting up to 50 pounds, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist etc.
