The organization is known for its strong commitment to employee safety, operational excellence, product quality, and continuous improvement.Job DescriptionThe Production Supervisor will:Lead and oversee daily operations across a multi-shift chemical production facility.Manage, coach, train, and develop production personnel while maintaining a positive and productive working environment.Drive adherence to safety, environmental, quality, and operational procedures.Plan, communicate, and execute production schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets.Coordinate material availability and inventory requirements to ensure uninterrupted production.Collaborate with engineering, laboratory, wastewater, logistics, and other operational teams to optimize workflow and productivity.Monitor production performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions where required.Analyze operational challenges and resolve production-related issues efficiently.Ensure standard operating procedures remain current, accurate, and effectively communicated.Support continuous improvement and process optimization projects in partnership with technical and engineering teams.Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities when necessary.Track departmental performance against budgetary and operational objectives.Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality management system requirements.Provide hands-on operational support during staffing shortages or peak production periods.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
