    Description

    Work Schedule 

    Fixed 4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday)  

    • 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM 

    Overtime may be required based on business needs 

    Key Responsibilities 

    Leadership & Team Development 

    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15–25 employees, including team leads 

    • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement 

    • Provide clear direction, feedback, and performance management 

    • Support hiring, training, and workforce planning 

    Operations Execution 

    • Oversee daily production to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals 

    • Maintain strong floor presence (~70%) to support teams and resolve issues 

    • Ensure adherence to standard work, policies, and procedures 

    • Monitor performance metrics and drive corrective actions 

    Continuous Improvement 

    • Apply lean manufacturing principles (5S, standard work, flow) 

    • Lead root cause problem solving and implement sustainable solutions 

    • Maintain training matrices and build workforce capability 

    • Drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity 

    Safety & Quality 

    • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture 

    • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures 

    • Support and reinforce quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives 

    Administrative 

    • Manage time and attendance for production staff 

    • Utilize ERP system (Infor) and production data to support decision-making 

    • Maintain accurate records and reporting 

    Qualifications 

    Required 

    • 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume or mixed-model environment

    • Direct supervisory experience leading production teams 

    • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills 

    • Experience in lean manufacturing environments 

    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills 

    • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and mechanical drawings 

    Preferred 

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 

    • Experience using ERP systems (Infor preferred)
