Production Supervisor
Available Shifts: Must be open to all shifts - 7 days a week.  Shift will be assigned depending on coverage gap and candidate's strengths.
  • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 11:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 9:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay: $30-$40/hourly
Terms: 4 months assignment, could be extended.  Position Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading plant operations and driving continuous process improvement to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost objectives. This role provides leadership to production teams, ensures resources are aligned to meet daily production schedules, and fosters a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead production team members in executing daily production plans that meet quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
  • Monitor production performance and ensure operational standards are consistently achieved.
  • Identify production issues, constraints, or bottlenecks and lead cross-functional, team-based problem-solving efforts.
  • Ensure production resources, including staffing, materials, and equipment, are available to meet production schedules.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, efficiency, and customer service.
  • Coach, train, and develop team members while providing ongoing performance feedback.
  • Support sanitation and operational activities to maintain a clean, safe, and food-safe manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, plant procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by supporting plant safety programs and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Participate in daily production planning and drive execution of standard work processes.
  • Lead shift handoff meetings to ensure effective communication and operational continuity between shifts.
Qualifications
Required/Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Food processing or food manufacturing experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
This position requires working in a manufacturing environment and may involve:
  • Walking throughout the facility.
  • Climbing stairs and ladders.
  • Kneeling, bending, and performing repetitive hand movements.
  • Lifting and carrying materials of varying weights.
  • Working around large, moving manufacturing equipment.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and elevated noise levels.
