Lead day-to-day production operations within a fast-paced dietary supplement manufacturing facility. Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining compliance with FDA regulations and cGMP requirements. Supervise, coach, and develop production employees to enhance performance, engagement, and accountability. Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, efficiency gains, and waste reduction initiatives. Partner closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Operations teams to achieve production and quality objectives. Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements. Maintain a safe working environment while ensuring adherence to company procedures and regulatory standards. Support scheduling, staffing, and production planning activities to meet customer demand. Ideal candidates will have leadership experience within dietary supplement, nutraceutical, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Strong understanding of FDA-regulated manufacturing environments and cGMP compliance is highly preferred.
A successful Production Supervisor should have: Experience within dietary supplements preferred. Experience developing and implementing SOPs. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including: Blending, Tablet pressing, Liquid production, Related production equipment. Bilingual English/Spanish is a MUST. Proven coaching and leadership capabilities. Continuous Improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus) must be hands on. Approximately 10+ years of manufacturing experience - could consider someone who has come from food, and then gone into nutra/dietary for the last 2/3 plus years. Approximately 5+ years of supervisory experience. Demonstrated progression through manufacturing leadership roles. Ability to help scale and develop a growing operation.
