What You'll Do

The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Superintendent and will oversee a team of hourly personnel. This position ensures that all furnaces, production, and shipping functions meet all established goals and production standards. Daily, this person directs changes to production flow and may alter shift priorities based on current situations. This roles requires schedule flexibility, will rotations between 1st and 2nd shift operations.

Plans and executes pre-established production and manpower utilization standardsEnsures quality standards are maintained to meet production specificationsCompletes daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding production/maintenance, safety, manpower, and utilizationTroubleshoots equipment and works to improve processes to maximize productionSupervises and drives productivity to employeesRecommends methods of improvement to efficiently utilize production toolsAssists in training new employees

What You'll Need

To be successful in this position, you must:

Possess a High School diploma or equivalentHave 5+ years of technical experience and/or demonstrated proficiency in plant day to day operationsPossess good analytical skills and be detail orientedBe able to meet deadlines and work well in a team environmentHave in depth knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes
