Production Supervisor

Location: Near Brigham City, Utah

Compensation: $80,000-$110,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead employees in a metal fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements operating policies and procedures, improves production methods and working conditions, and supports strong results in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop production leads and hourly employees.
  • Plan and assign work while monitoring performance against goals and standards.
  • Improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, and working conditions.
  • Support hiring, retention, training, performance reviews, and corrective action.
  • Develop activity plans and review priorities and results with plant leadership.
  • Improve production-control systems, standard operating procedures, quality controls, and performance-management practices.
  • Coordinate with customer service, engineering, and production teams.
  • Support inventory management, troubleshooting, and continuous-improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
  • At least three years of supervisory or leadership experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people, plan work, manage competing priorities, and deliver measurable results.
  • Working knowledge of metal fabrication layouts, assemblies, hardware, welding symbols and procedures, and machining practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and team-building skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as production needs require.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for six to eight hours and walk for up to six hours during a workday.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to hear alarms and identify workplace hazards in production areas.
