    Description

    Production Floor Supervisor

    Our client is seeking an experienced Production Floor Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations while ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside the production team, oversee multiple assembly lines, coach and develop employees, and drive operational efficiency in a regulated manufacturing environment.

    What You'll Do

    • Lead daily production activities to meet manufacturing schedules and quality objectives
    • Supervise multiple production lines, ensuring projects are completed on time and to established standards
    • Work alongside the production team performing assembly and supporting manufacturing operations as needed
    • Schedule work, assign tasks, establish priorities, and monitor production progress
    • Coach, train, mentor, and develop production employees while fostering a positive team environment
    • Recruit and onboard new team members as needed
    • Ensure compliance with company quality systems, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment while enforcing safety policies
    • Read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, and hardware specifications
    • Perform chassis and final product assembly, wiring, soldering, and testing of finished products
    • Troubleshoot production issues and electro-mechanical assemblies to minimize downtime
    • Complete required production and regulatory documentation accurately
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in special projects as assigned

    What We're Looking For

    • 5+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
    • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in a production setting
    • Experience training and mentoring manufacturing employees
    • Working knowledge of ISO 13485:2016 and FDA Quality System Regulations (21 CFR Part 820) preferred
    • Understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
    • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical assemblies
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
    • Hands-on experience with wiring, crimping, soldering, PCB assembly, and electro-mechanical integration
    • Experience assembling pneumatic and fluidic systems is a plus
    • Familiarity with ESD practices and precision inspection tools, including calipers and digital measuring equipment
    • Experience using torque tools, crimping tools, soldering equipment, and other manufacturing hand tools
    • Cleanroom assembly experience (ISO Class 7) is a plus
    • Strong leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, and communication skills
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • OSHA Safety Certification, Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified Manufacturing Specialist (CMS) certifications are a plus
