Production Supervisor (Electronics Manufacturing)

Hours:
6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday Thursday (4 ten-hour shifts)
Pay:
$27.00/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a production team in an electronics manufacturing environment, ensuring daily output, quality, and safety goals are met
Plan and assign daily responsibilities: review priorities, distribute work to the team, and follow up throughout the shift to keep jobs on track
Serve as a hands-on working supervisor, stepping in with tasks such as soldering, hand assembly, wiring, cable/connector assembly, PCB and component assembly, quality inspection, and basic troubleshooting of defects
Oversee the production floor: coordinate workflow, maintain a clean/organized work area, and address bottlenecks or staffing needs as they arise
Support and coordinate stockroom activities: ensure components and materials are available, organized, and issued to meet daily schedules
Reinforce quality and workmanship standards, ensuring team members follow documented processes and build requirements
Provide daily coaching and guidance to maintain productivity and consistency among staff
Minimum Requirements:
Production supervision experience in manufacturing involving small parts, detailed assembly work, and quality-focused processes
Electronics manufacturing background, including exposure to PCB or electronic component production environments
Ability to work effectively in a hands-on leadership role, leading people while performing production tasks
Experience supporting stockroom or materials areas (inventory coordination, kitting, issuing parts, organization)
Standing or walking on the production floor for extended periods, with occasional lifting or moving of materials
Nice to Have Skills:
Familiarity with electronics assembly tools and equipment
Experience with quality assurance processes in electronics manufacturing
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous supervisory experience in electronics manufacturing or similar environment
Other Requirements:
Ability to work on-site at the Solon location
Physical ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift materials as needed
