JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead and direct the daily operations of our thermal spray production team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a willingness to actively participate in production tasks alongside the team when necessary. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Plans and manages shop production scheduling, establishing daily and weekly priorities.
- Oversee daily production activities ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.
- Step in and perform production work alongside team members as needed to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer scheduling updates.
- Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance skills and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability and willingness to perform production tasks alongside the team.
- Must be a US person pursuant to ITAR / EAR.
- Ability to maintain positive employee relations and high levels of employee engagement.
- One year of hands-on-thermal spray, coating, or related manufacturing experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform production tasks while leading a team.
