    The ideal candidate comes from an FMCG, food manufacturing, or packaging environment and has at least 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience managing production teams.
    The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Autonomous Maintenance (AM), and Progressive Maintenance (PM). Experience leading teams of 15+ employees, particularly in a union environment, is highly preferred.

    Work Schedule

    Primary Schedule: Friday – Sunday: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
    12-hour shifts

    Additional Flexibility

    Monday – Friday production coverage across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with flexibility to work weekends as operational needs require.
    Schedule flexibility is required.

    The Production Supervisor will lead production operations and frontline teams while ensuring that safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, sustainability, and employee morale targets are achieved.
    This role requires a hands-on leader who understands manufacturing equipment, production losses, maintenance fundamentals, and continuous improvement. The Production Supervisor will identify losses, lead Root Cause Analysis, reduce downtime and breakdowns, support autonomous and progressive maintenance standards, and ensure resources are properly allocated throughout the shift.
    The position will also play a key role in shutdown maintenance, loss analysis, breakdown elimination, new product development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Maintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment
    • Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma including qualification of AM steps 5-6, and PM step 3
    • Leading line teams
    • Handling challenging interpersonal situations tactfully
    • Influencing people in a union environment
    • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing and good attention to detail

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree required.
    • 3–5 years of manufacturing/production experience.
    • 1–2+ years of supervisory or production leadership experience.
    • Demonstrated experience leading teams of 15+ employees preferred.
    • FMCG / Food Manufacturing / Packaging industry experience is required.
    • Experience with Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing.
    • Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
    • Working knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
    • Experience with Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and/or Progressive Maintenance (PM).
    • Working knowledge of manufacturing safety practices, including LOTO, GMP, and BOS.
    • Experience working with production quality systems.
    • Exposure to SAP, ERP, or manufacturing information systems.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to work effectively in a union environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable operational improvements.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with AM Step 4 systems.
    • Experience with PM Step 3 systems.
    • Experience qualifying or supporting AM Steps 5–6.
    • Experience qualifying or supporting PM Step 3.
    • Six Sigma experience or training.
    • TPM certification or formal TPM implementation experience.
    • Experience leading shutdown maintenance.
    • Strong equipment troubleshooting experience.
    • Experience reducing production stops, downtime, and breakdown losses.
    • Experience with new product development.
    • Experience working in high-volume FMCG or packaging operations.
