    Production Supervisor

    Key Objectives

    • Oversee daily production activities to meet company goals for quality, efficiency, and safety.
    • Lead, motivate, and develop production team members to achieve peak performance.
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate production staff, schedules, and workflow to meet production targets.
    • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules or resources as needed to maintain efficiency.
    • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members.
    • Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
    • Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management.
    • Support implementation of Lean manufacturing and other process improvement methodologies.
    • Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and product standards.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
    • Proficient in using manufacturing software and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
