We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead support and manage a team of technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate is a self-starter with strong leadership capabilities that can manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time. This leader will build a team that can work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments.

Your experience in fast-paced production lines as well as strong technical background will make you an ideal candidate for this role. You have a passion for employee development and enjoy the process of training and developing the next generation of techs. You are very hands-on, energetic, and have a capacity to think critically on many different complicated processes. Your proven ability to collaborate with employees, peers, and managers is one of your key strengths for success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical training to all technicians focused on controls, mechanics, electrical, etc.
  • Align projects to drive department goals by managing operations and driving metrics in critical areas.
  • Lead remanufacturing technicians on process issues analysis and problem solving.
  • Monitor defect trends and escalate to responsible engineering, quality, and service teams.
  • Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & corrective action tracking.
  • Work with the training department ensuring manufacturing instructions, versatility matrices, and other technical documentation are current.
  • Manage the cross-shift communication for the technician teams.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience managing teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Experience in selecting and developing new team members as well as ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs).
  • Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
  • Communicate using excellent written and verbal skills, able to interface with executives and leaders daily.
  • Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Fluent with standard MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work a flexible shift including nights and weekends if necessary.

Expected Compensation: Supervisor Manufacturing - $86,400 - $129,600 annual salary, cash and stock awards, benefits.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
