The Opportunity

We’re seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in our USDA-regulated food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring workplace safety, driving production efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining food safety standards, and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

 

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-driven, and thrives in a collaborative setting where continuous improvement, accountability, and operational discipline are critical. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager / Plant Director.

 

What You’ll Lead

  • Lead, train, and support production team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Oversee daily production operations, staffing, shift start-ups, and shift handovers
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with USDA, HACCP, GMP, and sanitation standards
  • Monitor production performance, labor efficiency, yields, throughput, and quality metrics
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity
  • Ensure accurate product coding, labeling, inventory rotation, and production documentation
  • Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, supply chain, and leadership teams to resolve operational issues
  • Coach employees on performance, policies, and professional development while fostering a positive team culture
  • Support audit readiness and maintain compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience required
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Experience in USDA-regulated or highly regulated food manufacturing environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational reporting
  • Supervisory experience in food manufacturing is a plus
  • Must reside in the United States
  • Sponsorship is not available for this role
