Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Description

• Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture throughout the operation.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve performance.
• Review production schedules and adjust staffing and resources to meet operational objectives.
• Develop and track productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Manage employee development, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Build team capability and develop manufacturing bench strength.
• Communicate and implement company policies and operational initiatives.
• Partner with Quality teams to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Develop and monitor manufacturing performance metrics and trend analyses.
• Facilitate team meetings focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift should have:

• High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven background implementing Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and drive operational results.
• Hands-on leadership style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Experience managing employee performance, training, and development.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and manufacturing reporting tools.
• Positive, team-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
