Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd Shift Digital Print and Direct Mail operation in Bloomington, Illinois. This position works Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

This hands-on leadership role oversees a team of approximately 20-30 production employees and Team Leads, ensuring daily production, quality, safety, and customer commitments are met. The Production Supervisor will play a key role in developing employees, improving processes, and driving operational performance in a fast-paced print manufacturing environment.

We’re looking for a leader who enjoys being on the production floor, solving problems, building strong teams, and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 20-30 production employees and Team Leads
  • Drive daily performance related to safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery
  • Monitor workflow throughout the Digital Print and Direct Mail production process to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Establish daily priorities, balance staffing needs, and adjust resources to meet production goals
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Identify production challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve efficiency
  • Partner with leaders across production, maintenance, quality, and support teams to achieve business objectives
  • Communicate production expectations, process changes, and performance feedback clearly and consistently
  • Support employee hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and development
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

You Must Have:

  • Experience leading people in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, printing, or other fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees
  • Experience managing performance and driving accountability within a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and make sound decisions in a fast-paced operation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly address production challenges
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
  • Ability to spend significant time on the production floor supporting employees and operations
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
  • Ability to occasionally move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Two or more years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Experience in digital print, print manufacturing, direct mail, fulfillment, or related production environments
  • Experience scheduling work, assigning priorities, and monitoring production performance
  • Experience with quality systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and process optimization
  • Fork truck certification or prior operating experience; training may be provided for the right candidate

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
