Key Responsibilities
Production Leadership & System Integration
- Lead daily operations as a Production Supervisor overseeing mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and system integration
- Supervise teams building complex assemblies using mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Ensure production aligns with on-time delivery and on-time release targets
- Manage production flow in a high-mix, contract manufacturing environment
Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement programs
- Apply Six Sigma principles and structured problem solving including 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis
- Lead Root Cause Analysis for production issues, defects, and downtime
- Improve throughput, cycle time, and production efficiency
Quality, Safety & KPI Ownership
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 quality standards and internal quality systems
- Monitor KPIs including throughput, on-time delivery, inventory turns, and defect rates
- Enforce safety standards and track safety performance metrics
- Maintain high standards for in-process inspection and quality control
- Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with Engineering to resolve production issues and system integration challenges
- Work with Supply Chain to ensure material availability and BOM accuracy
- Support training and development of production teams
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor, Production Supervisor, or Assembly Supervisor
- Experience in contract manufacturing or industrial manufacturing environments
- Strong background in electro-mechanical assembly and system integration
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Root Cause Analysis
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and BOM structures
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in fabrication, mechanical, or industrial engineering environments
- Experience with welding, welding robots, or mid-production automation
- Certified welder or electrician strongly preferred
- Experience with Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies
