Production Supervisor 1st Shift
Location: Fall River, MA
Shift: 1st Shift | MondayFriday (rotating Saturdays)
Pay: $70,000$85,000 annually (based on experience)
We're looking for an experienced
Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations on 1st shift. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving production, maintaining quality standards, promoting a safe work environment, and developing a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support production employees on 1st shift.
- Schedule work to meet production goals and customer deadlines.
- Monitor productivity, quality, scrap, and downtime while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Train, coach, and develop employees while holding the team accountable to performance expectations.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Planning to minimize downtime and resolve production issues.
- Complete production reports, attendance tracking, and other daily documentation.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and corrective actions as needed.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of production supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
- Experience managing production schedules, KPIs, and daily operations.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or similar production practices is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
