    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Lead team meetings communicating quality and production
    information in addition to general information from other
    locations/departments
    • Coach and counsel crew members in safety, performance,
    attendance, training, housekeeping/5S, and quality to ensure
    understanding and compliance of company requirements
    • Ensure that all production, safety, quality, and information is
    clearly communicated to all team members
    • Actively participate in accident/injury, including near misses,
    investigations and resolve any deficiencies, to include
    engineering controls, employee education, etc.
    • Perform audits in areas of safety, training, and quality to
    support company needs, and develop countermeasures
    when necessary
    • Assist the with company compliance with requirements of
    TS16949 and other customer mandated certifications
    • Coordinate work assignments for team members
    • Administer proper disciplinary actions when violations occur
    • Assist with materials planning and logistics
    • Review production data turned in from each operator
    • Process payroll and attendance data
    • Assist in preventive maintenance of equipment

    KEY COMPETENCIES:
    • Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office
    Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Ability to learn and follow procedures while working safely
    in a manufacturing environment
    • Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis
    • Excellent Analytical Skills
    • Ability and willingness to uphold the Carlex Values of

    REQUIREMENTS
    Education:
    • High School diploma or GED required
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering,
    Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred but
    not required

    Years of Experience:
    • 3+ years manufacturing/production experience

    Other Requirements:
    • Glass manufacturing process knowledge preferred
    • Must be willing and able to work all available shifts
    • Regular and predictable attendance required
    • Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and
    responsibilities
    • Valid driver’s license required for business travel
    • Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be
    required as workload or projects dictate, including
    weekends and holidays
