This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone with prior supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or a related field. Production Shift Leader

7pm-7am Mon-Wed, every other Sunday

$18.00/hour




A local manufacturing company is seeking a dependable and motivated production shift leader to oversee daily production operations and support a team of 10–15 employees. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone with prior supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or a related field. The production shift leader will help ensure production goals are met, safety standards are followed, and employees have the guidance needed to maintain efficient workflow. This position requires strong forklift experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.




Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support a team of 10–15 production employees
• Assist with coordinating daily production activities to meet operational goals
• Safely operate forklifts and other equipment as needed
• Monitor workflow and address production issues to minimize downtime
• Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are consistently followed
• Maintain productivity while promoting a positive team environment
• Communicate effectively with management regarding production needs and concerns
• Assist with scheduling priorities and task assignments within the department
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for employees during the shift

Requirements

• Previous supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience required
• Forklift operating experience required
• Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and direct employees while maintaining accountability
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work as needed
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Reliable transportation to and from work
