The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating an efficient production schedule for the Lock Haven facility. Working under the direction of the Planner and Materials Manager, this position analyzes finished-goods demand, production requirements, inventory levels, and plant capabilities to ensure customer needs are met and support efficient plant operations.
The Production Scheduler coordinates scheduling activities across production vessels, responds to changes in demand and production performance, and serves as a key liaison between the plant and corporate teams. This role also supports finished goods and raw materials inventory management and helps ensure accurate information in applicable planning and inventory systems.
LOCATION:Lock Haven, PA
Responsibilities - Uphold and adhere to all corporate and plant Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
- Develop, maintain, and communicate daily production schedules based on customer demand, inventory requirements, production capacity, and operational priorities
- Prepare and present the daily reactor schedule to appropriate plant personnel
- Serve as a liaison between the plant and corporate teams regarding production scheduling, priorities, constraints, and schedule changes
- Monitor actual production against the established schedule and adjust production plans as necessary to address delays, deviations, equipment availability, or changing operational conditions
- Respond to new, urgent, or changing customer requirements by adjusting production schedules as appropriate
- Communicate production schedule changes and their potential impacts to the appropriate plant and corporate stakeholders
- Utilize OMNIS manufacturing, inventory, and customer order management systems to support scheduling and inventory activities
- Coordinate with customers, corporate teams, vendors, other manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and distribution networks as required
- Support raw material planning and supply processes, including the OMNIS raw material requisitioning system
- Receive and process warehouse transfers in OMNIS
- Ensure Production and Warehouse teams have the appropriate labels for packaged finished goods
- Monitor and manage on-site finished goods inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed
- Assist with monitoring raw material inventory levels, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation
- Identify potential material, inventory, or production constraints that could affect the production schedule and communicate concerns to appropriate stakeholders
- Provide scheduling and inventory updates during daily plant meetings
- Provide backup support to the Materials Manager, Planner, and Production Manager as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned

QualificationsEDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Bachelor's degree preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of three years of experience in production planning, scheduling, ERP systems, or manufacturing operations, preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Experience with OMNIS manufacturing, inventory, and customer order management systems is a plus
- Working knowledge of plant equipment capabilities and production processes
- Experience with truck and rail transportation preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
