Production Quality Inspector — Blow Molding Operations

Our mission: Ship only bottles that meet spec. As the in‑process quality authority on the floor, you’ll validate production, guide adjustments, and document results so customers get consistent, compliant product every run.

What you’ll champion

• Approve in‑process production by confirming specifications through visual and dimensional tests; communicate required actions to operators and supervisors.
• Pull representative samples from every active line and perform required evaluations to verify conformance.
• Approve finished product by confirming specifications via measurement and visual inspection.
• Execute first‑article checks after changeovers and start‑ups in alignment with the SOP/Work Procedure Manual.
• Contain and label nonconforming raw materials and finished goods per the SOP/Work Procedure Manual.
• Set up and operate test instruments (e.g., Magna Mike thickness gauges, scales, and related equipment) for quality checks.
• Document all test data and evaluations precisely; follow all operational procedures defined in the SOP/Work Procedure Manual.
• Maintain a safe, secure, healthy environment by adhering to company standards and legal regulations; promptly alert others to potential concerns.

How you’ll do it

• Perform daily calibration/verification of measurement tools (Magna Mike, scales, etc.) using gauges and weights; record on required check sheets.
• Model proper PPE use and safe conduct at all times.
• Keep your area organized and clean; complete additional cleaning of assigned areas or equipment when instructed by your Supervisor.
• Train on the Inspector Packer responsibilities to provide backup and break coverage.
• Communicate clearly in basic English (speak, read, and write) to share findings and recommended adjustments.
• Follow plant‑specific job specifications and task lists.

Your schedule & flexibility

• Work assigned shifts, with overtime and occasional after‑hours meetings as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
