Summary
A small, hands-on manufacturing team is seeking a Production & Quality Assistant to support production, testing, inventory, documentation, and general organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run functional tests on boards, cables, keypads, and power supplies; label and record results.
  • Pick parts kits and prepare components (cutting wire/tubing, prepping spacers, removing hardware).
  • Maintain inventory counts; flag low stock; reconcile physical counts.
  • Organize paper records; scan and structure electronic files; help design better filing systems.
  • Document defects clearly
  • Keep benches and work areas organized; box finished items; print labels; assist with small projects.
This is a direct-hire, full-time position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay is commensurate with experience, starting at $21 per hour. This is a small company, and the benefits package is negotiated to fit the employee. Required Qualifications
  • Clear spoken and written English; confident raising issues.
  • Detail-oriented; follows written instructions exactly.
  • Comfortable with computers, data entry, scanning, and writing procedures.
  • Manual dexterity and good near vision for small components.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred
  • Degree or practical experience in engineering, electronics, repair, quality, or process disciplines.
  • Exposure to 8D, root cause analysis, corrective action, ISO 9001.
  • Experience with work instructions, SOPs, 5S, lean, or inventory/document systems.
  • Ability to read a bill of materials or simple assembly drawing.
