Internship Duration: Onsite in Farmington, CT from January 2027 - August 2027 At least 24 hours weekly
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Production Planning team with new product introductions
- New material set up
- BOM allocations
- Creating and maintaining Supply Chain performance metrics
- On-time delivery
- On-time shipments
- On-time container booking
- Vessel delays
- Rolled containers
- Optimizing purchasing parameters in SAP
- Develop tools and workflows to evaluate and maintain the pre-planning parameters
- Other related duties as designated by manager.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is required. Strong inter-personal communication skills and ability to work as a team player. The position requires an Industrial, Mechanical, Computer, Manufacturing Engineering major and programming skills (e.g., VBA, C#)
