Production Planner

This position is reponsible for developing and managing production schedules, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure that deadlines are met, and monitoring inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Expectations of the Production Planner:

• Analyze and interpret data to develop production schedules
• Develop and maintain production plans aligned with customer requirements
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that production schedules are met
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust production schedules accordingly
• Analyze customer demand and forecast future demand
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Maintain accurate records of production activities

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and work within deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of assembly manufacturing techniques and equipment preferred

Education/Experience:

• GED or High School Education required
• Experience with MRP process and ERP systems
• 3 years of production planning, scheduling, and coordination
• Experience with ISO standards and lean manufacturing
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills
• Ability to speak, read, and write English is required
