- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Production Planning, Scheduling, Production Control, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting fabrication and assembly environments, including welding, machining, polishing, and assembly operations preferred.
- APICS CPIM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related certifications are preferred.

FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Clerk to support manufacturing operations through accurate production planning, reporting, and MRP system maintenance. This role plays a key part in ensuring production documentation, reporting, and scheduling activities are completed efficiently and on time.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Prepare and assemble production documentation packets, including work orders, routers, and related engineering prints.
- Review and analyze production reports using compiled and calculated data.
- Maintain organized records and files related to production documentation and travelers.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to investigate and resolve production reporting discrepancies.
- Ensure timely processing and communication of production reports and related documentation.
- Enter and update production data within the MRP system based on sales order backlog.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production information in the MRP system.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Production Control Supervisor.
The selected candidate will also possess:
Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing and production reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience working with MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions, procedures, and production documentation.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred
- Bilingual Spanish.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or APICS CPIM.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes involving mechanical components and assemblies.
Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00/hour
