    O’Fallon, MO 63366
    Job description: The production planner is responsible for creating and maintaining product records to ensure accurate work orders are produced. They work closely with the production team to make sure all records are updated accordingly and are accurate for scheduling. The production planner is also responsible for releasing, printing, and managing work orders before sending to the production floor.
     
    Key responsibilities:
    • Convert sales orders into work orders for production
    • Print work orders and prepare job packets
    • Double check orders within department for accuracy
    • Work with customer care team
    • Work with pre-press team
    • Build the bill of materials for products/items
    • Set the routings for jobs to run in production
    • Identify missing or incorrect information and work with appropriate department on resolution
    • Update product information as required
    • Collect and report department specific KPIs
    • Work with production team
     
     
    Basic Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of experience in production planning
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and production planning software
