Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Production Packager/Material Handlers in Ashland for immediate openings in a brand-new, climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
These openings have a streamlined start process with no additional client interview, helping qualified candidates move through the hiring process quickly.
You'll work with lightweight sports and play products, helping with production, quality checks, packaging, palletizing, and preparing finished orders for shipment.
What You'll Do
- Help prepare and finish sports and play products
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Sort products into designated containers
- Pack finished products according to order requirements
- Stack and palletize completed orders
- Shrink-wrap and prepare pallets for shipment
- Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and production-ready
- Work with your team to keep orders moving efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Dependable attendance and consistent work habits
- Strong attention to detail and product quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Comfortable standing and walking throughout the shift
- Ability to regularly lift up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to accurately count, sort, pack, and organize products
- Clear and respectful communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous production, packaging, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is helpful
