    Slitter Operator ITitle: Converting OperatorDepartment: Shrink - ConvertingImmediate Supervisor: Converting SupervisorStatus: Full-Time Night Shift 6pm-6am Rotating 2-2-3 schedulePosition Purpose: To safely set up and operate the converting equipment/machinery to produce a maximum of slit and folded rolls of standard specifications from WIP stock assuring standard quality requirements are met through diligent inspection.

    Principle Accountabilities

    Ensuring effective and efficient operation of slitter machines to maximize productivity.Convert large rolls of plastic into smaller rolls at optimal speeds and high quality.Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.Maintain processes and production records.Obtaining raw materials and packaging, including using a pallet jack and/or forklift.Performing quality inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.Related tasks as requested by Converting Supervisor or Production Manager.
