Production Operator

Smart Staffing is seeking production operators to support high-volume manufacturing of plastic food containers commonly used in grocery store bakeries and deli counters. This role focuses on consistent production output and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include boxing, picking, packing, palletizing, and quality checking products on the production line. Employees stand for the duration of the shift and may rotate between work areas based on production needs. Candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks, maintaining strong attention to detail, and lifting approximately 25–40 lbs depending on level.

Multiple pay levels are available:

• Level I: $17.02/hr – boxing, packing, quality checking (approx. 25 lbs lifting)
• Level II: $17.42/hr – more physical, lifting and palletizing (approx. 25–40 lbs)
• Level III: $18.52/hr

Night shift offers a $1.00/hr differential:

• Level I: $18.02/hr
• Level II: $18.42/hr
• Level III: $19.52/hr

Training & Schedule
Formal training begins at 2:30 PM and must be attended in full. Day shift training occurs the day before the first shift

Typical schedule: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 4:45 AM–5:00 PM. Reliable transportation is required, as there is no bus service for these shifts.
