Production Operator (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts)
Plattsburgh, NY | Onsite
Pay: $25.00 per hour + shift differential, where applicable
Norsk Titanium: Innovating the future of metals
Norsk Titanium is the world's first and only OEM-qualified supplier of additively manufactured structural titanium components. Our patented Rapid Plasma Deposition (RPD) process builds titanium parts layer by layer from wire, close to final shape, using a fraction of the material that traditional forging and machining require. Our parts fly on commercial aircraft today, and the same process is opening doors in defense, space, and industrial markets.
Our Production Operators run the equipment that makes this possible, and due to demand for our technology, we're hiring for all three shifts.
Shifts available
Please note that 2nd and 3rd shifts are prioritized highest at this time.
What it's like to work here
Our production floor doesn't look like most factories. It's clean and climate-controlled year-round, so you won't be sweating through July or wearing a coat in January. The equipment is some of the most advanced in manufacturing, and you'll learn to run machines exclusive to our process.
You don't need prior additive manufacturing experience to get started. Every new Operator goes through our structured qualification program, working alongside experienced Operators and technical experts until you're fully qualified on the RPD process. As your skills grow, so does what you're trusted to handle and qualified to print.
What you'll do
What you bring
We also look for people who share our values: glød (enthusiasm), collaboration, creative curiosity, trust, respect, and integrity.
