Production Operator

Pay: $19.50/hour
Schedule: Multiple shifts available

Job Summary

We are hiring Production Operators to join our manufacturing team! In this role, you will operate and monitor multiple production workstations to manufacture quality parts while following established procedures, safety guidelines, and production standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a production environment, and interested in learning new equipment and processes. Training is provided.

Available Shifts12-Hour Rotating Shifts

2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Rotating schedule with every other weekend based on the assigned schedule
• Employees work 2 days, have 2 days off, then work 3 days, with the schedule rotating

Monday–Friday Shifts

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor multiple production workstations to manufacture parts according to specifications and work instructions.
• Set up equipment according to established procedures.
• Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow daily and weekly production schedules.
• Inspect and verify parts to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Properly identify and label materials, components, work-in-process, and finished products.
• Complete basic data entry and production documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Follow all company safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a manufacturing/production environment.

• Non-climate-controlled facility with varying temperatures.
• Exposure to forklift and pedestrian traffic.
• Elevated noise levels may be present.
• Required PPE may include safety glasses, steel or composite-toe footwear, and hearing protection when necessary.
• The position involves standing, walking, lifting, and operating machinery throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Basic computer/data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable and able to work a scheduled shift.
• Comfortable learning and operating multiple workstations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive production tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Ability to safely operate production equipment after training.
