Job Title: Production OperatorJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to maintain and operate highly automated machinery involved in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCBs). The role requires proficiency in handling various electronics assembly equipment and ensuring adherence to industry specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Operate automated electronics assembly equipment, including selective solder machines, wave solder machines, solder fountain machines, and PCB depaneling machines, in compliance with IPC Class 2, Class 3, and J-Standard specifications.
+ Train others in the operation of automated electronics assembly equipment.
+ Set up, load, adjust, and maintain the equipment, and provide training for others.
+ Conduct thorough inspections and verify component placement prior to machine use in the manufacturing process.
+ Read, understand, and follow assembly documentation, ensuring adherence to correct revisions.
+ Strictly adhere to and train others in all area work instructions and assembly documentation.
+ Identify and propose improvements for processes.
+ Complete and maintain required training and certifications, including IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
+ Promote and work in a team environment.
+ Communicate effectively and professionally with fellow employees, supervisors, and managers.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area according to 5S standards.
+ Comply with company core values and motto.
+ Assist in other areas and notify management of work shortages as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to meet or exceed key job responsibilities and compliance duties.
+ High School diploma or equivalent GED.
+ Associates Degree or minimum of 3 months of industry experience in skilled manufacturing assembly operator roles.
+ Understanding of electronic component, PCB, and equipment terminologies.
+ Proficient computer skills; familiarity with MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
+ Ability to work independently and in teams.
+ Flexibility to work any required shift, including weekends, night shifts, and overtime.
+ Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities concurrently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum 4+ years of experience as an electronics assembly Machine Operator.
+ Experience in operating automated equipment to achieve IPC Class 2, Class 3, and J-Standard specifications.
+ Background in IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies).
+ Preferred Background in IPC-A-600.
+ Working knowledge of J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies).
+ Knowledge of IPC 7711/7721 (Rework, Modification, and Repair of Electronic Assemblies).

Work Environment
Work in a clean electronics manufacturing facility with individual workstations. Employees are required to wear smocks and shoe straps while on the production floor. The standard work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Meridian, ID.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $22.00/hr.
