Production Operator

Must be able to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; push and pull; twist and turn; bend, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl. • Must have the ability to work on an off shift if required • Must be able to work overtime as required to maintain plant operations • 1-3 months related/manufacturing experience • Forklift/material handling experience.

1st Shift
Will be working in the filling department where we fill paint into drums, gallons, 5-gallon pails, and quarts.

Prepares and examines production materials for processing.

Operates all equipment and processes.

Monitors machine parameters and troubleshoots processing problems.

Skill/Experience/Education:

Mandatory:
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES/CAPABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. • Must be able to use a hand truck and/or material handling equipment to move materials weighing several hundred pounds. • Must be able to climb and descend stairs. • Must be able to walk, sit, stand, walk, hear, and have good color vision and depth perception. • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. • Must be able to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; push and pull; twist and turn; bend, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl. • Must be able to wear a respirator. • Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees. • Will work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required. • Will work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present. • Will be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt. • Use of telephone and computer keyboard. • Must have the ability to work on an off shift if required • Must be able to work overtime as required to maintain plant operations • 1-3 months related/manufacturing experience • Forklift/material handling experience
