Position Overview
Starting pay $18.50 per hour.
Schedule is a 12hr shift 7PM to 7AM (a 2 2 3 schedule).
Under the direction of supervision (i.e. supervisor and/or team leader). The operator performs job tasks and in process quality checks at established intervals. Operator will operate the End of Line Vision system and monitor flow of product that passes through the vision system. The End of Line Vision System determines specification rejects and sorts the rejects from the finished product. Operator verifies the finished product for good quality and the product is then bulk packed and placed on a skid.
Specific Responsibilities
· Adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
· Follow batch record instructions
· Write legibly on all documents within the batch record
· Perform all required quality checks at established intervals and complete all required documentation
· Utilize Mettler moisture analyzer and Hardness Test analyzer as required by the batch record (quality check intervals)
· Perform in process task requirements, Encapsulation Towel Procedure and Clean Glove Method Process
· Lift totes or boxes to build full skid. Requires lifting up to 40lbs
· Perform line clearance cleaning. Requires step ladder, lifting parts, bending, and use of 99% IPA (alcohol)
· Ensure production codes/lots are not mixed to prevent cross-contamination
· Accumulate all rejects and place in appropriate container for accountability
· Ensure finished product meets the acceptable quality level (AQL) limits to maintain quality and integrity of the finished product
· Maintain clean work environment at all times, including and not limited to hygiene practices
General Responsibilities

· Requires regular attendance to perform essential element as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.

The Candidate
Education, Experience, and Licenses
· High School diploma or equivalent
· 3 months experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Good English communications written/verbal communication skills.
· Capacity to perform basic computer transactions.
· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence.
· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
· Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
· Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
· The employee is regularly required to use hands, speak and hear.
· Job requires standing for long periods, bending with knees to perform tasks during standard/assigned shift work hours.
· Work is typically performed in a moderately noisy manufacturing area.
· The employee must be able to lift to 40 lbs.
