Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Thursday | 5:30 AM-4:00 PM
Location: Ashland, Ohio
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire | Eligible for permanent placement after 400 hours worked (60-days)

Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Production Operators in Ashland. If you're dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with your hands, we'll provide the training to help you build valuable manufacturing skills.

What You'll Do

• Use grinders and power tools to finish manufactured metal components
• Remove excess material and prepare parts to meet quality standards
• Inspect completed work for quality
• Move and handle materials throughout production
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Keep your work area clean and organized

What You'll Need

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to stay physically active throughout a 10-hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely use or learn to use power tools
• Previous manufacturing or other hands-on experience is helpful, but not required
