Hours: 6pm-6am rotating schedule (3 days on one week and 4 on the following)
Pay: $19
Position: Production operator 2 - Night
Observe automated machine operation to respond to tote changes, system faults, and lot completion/changeovers.
Complete lot changeovers including loading material, ensuring material alignment, machine setting, and starting continuous operation.
Stage and replenish raw materials and exchange product totes to enable continuous operation of automated machines.
Package, label, and stage finished product per specification.
Accurately and legibly complete production records including raw material information, machine settings, yields, and product labeling per outlined procedure.
Perform periodic visual checks on product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance.
Report issues with product, raw materials, or production cells to technical resources or Production Supervisor as soon as practically possible to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are maintained. Assist with resolving issues whenever possible.
Provide machine support for fellow co-workers as needed throughout the shift and during breaks, assuring continuous operation and quick resolution to machine issues.
Work alongside fellow employees in an automated environment. Help guide new team members so that they understand work assignments and methods of completing tasks.
Maintain a clean workstation area throughout the shift and leave a clean work area at the end of every shift.
Participate in all training programs, as required.
Other duties not normally performed may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis when production requirements dictate changes in duties or insufficient work is available in normal job classification.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment at least 1 year
Prior knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices within the medical industry
Must be willing to stand for entirety of the shift, as well as lift equipment (parts to be replaced) up to 30 pounds
Must be willing to be trained and follow procedures.
Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate constructively and cooperatively with team members and management employees.
Ability to work well within a team environment and capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision.
