Hours:6am-6pm rotating schedule (3 days on one week and 4 on the following)
Pay: $17.00
Position: Production operator 1 - Day
Monitor automated machine operations, responding to tote changes, system faults, and lot completion/changeovers.
Stage and replenish raw materials; exchange product tools to ensure continuous machine operation.
Accurately complete production records, including raw material information, machine settings, and product labeling per outlined procedures.
Perform periodic visual checks on products for inconsistencies or abnormalities.
Report issues with products, raw materials, or production cells to senior operators, shift leads, technicians, or the Production Supervisor promptly to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Provide machine support for co-workers during breaks, as needed, and as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
Collaborate with team members in an automated environment; assist in guiding new team members to understand work assignments and task completion methods.
Maintain a clean workstation throughout the shift and ensure the area is clean at the end of each shift.
Participate in all required training programs.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Prior knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices within the medical industry and some injection molding
Must be willing to stand for entirety of the shift, as well as lift equipment (parts to be replaced) up to 30 pounds
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, automated production environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
