Production Materials Flow Specialist

Express Employment Professionals, in partnership with Shaw Development, is hiring a Materials professional to support fast-paced production operations in the Material Handling department. We welcome motivated newcomers who bring a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–4:00 PM, with optional overtime on Fridays

A day in this role

You’ll start your shift by reviewing parts lists and instructions, then stage and move materials to the right assembly cells so production never misses a beat. You’ll keep inventory locations tidy and up to date, complete simple computer transactions to record movements, and help with cycle counts to keep stock accurate. You’ll navigate the facility by using stairs, freight lifts, and stepladders as needed. After obtaining the required certification, you’ll operate a forklift to safely move materials. Throughout the day, you’ll partner with teammates and supervisors, maintain a clean and safe work area, and jump in on other assigned tasks.

Core responsibilities

• Read parts lists; follow written and verbal instructions
• Pick materials for work orders; replenish assembly cells
• Restock and organize inventory locations
• Complete basic inventory transactions on a computer
• Assist with cycle counts for inventory accuracy
• Operate a forklift (certification required; training supported)
• Use stairs, freight lifts, and stepladders as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; perform other assigned duties

What you bring

• Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification; forklift operation is required
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds
• Comfort working on your feet for 8–10 hours
• Reliable attendance and early-morning availability
• Commitment to safety and clear communication with teammates and supervisors
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
