A technology-focused firm specializing in high-performance suspension systems and components, primarily serving the motorsports and automotive industries. The company is known for engineering advanced shock absorbers and custom solutions designed to enhance vehicle handling, durability, and overall ride performance.
Position Summary
The Production / Manufacturing Engineer provides hands-on engineering support to manufacturing operations and is responsible for developing, implementing, troubleshooting, and improving manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and production methods.
company designs and manufactures highly engineered vibration isolation, shock attenuation, noise control, and acoustic solutions for demanding applications in aerospace, defense, industrial, and other highly regulated markets.
This position works directly with the products and processes used to manufacture these systems, including rubber and elastomer molding, metal-to-rubber bonding, tooling and fixture design, mechanical and dynamic testing, material and process development, manufacturing troubleshooting, and new product introduction.
The Production / Manufacturing Engineer works closely with Production, Quality, Design Engineering, Maintenance, suppliers, and other technical personnel to resolve manufacturing problems, improve process performance, reduce scrap and rework, and transition new and existing products successfully into production.
This is a hands-on engineering role. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly on the production floor, investigating technical problems, running trials and tests, developing practical solutions, and carrying improvements through implementation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can independently identify problems, determine appropriate next steps, and carry solutions through implementation while collaborating with the broader engineering and manufacturing team.
