    Title: Production Manager
    Location: Waskom, TX

    Hire Type: Direct Hire
    Benefits: Benefits from day 1 with almost 100% coverage! In addition to 11 paid holidays, 2-3 weeks vacation, 401K, etc.
    Target Salary: $85,000-100,000
    Bonus/ Incentives/ Stock Options: up to 20% annual bonus

    Job Summary: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, staffing, safety, quality, and employee performance. This role is responsible for keeping production on schedule, maximizing shop efficiency, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

    Job Duties:

    • Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements
    • Manage staffing, work priorities, and overtime based on production needs and available resources
    • Ensure required tooling, fixtures, materials, and resources are available to support production
    • Monitor shop floor safety and address unsafe conditions while ensuring established safety procedures are followed
    • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, equipment utilization, productivity, and overall manufacturing efficiency
    • Drive Lean manufacturing, 5S, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
    • Ensure preventive maintenance activities are completed according to schedule
    • Train, develop, and evaluate employees while establishing and maintaining effective work standards
    • Track production performance, material fallout, and other key manufacturing metrics
    • Work cross-functionally to resolve production issues and maintain workflow throughout the facility

    Qualifications:

    • 3–5+ years of experience in a machine shop or machine tool manufacturing environment, including production supervisory or management experience
    • Associate degree or some college preferred; bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required
    • Strong understanding of machine shop operations, equipment, manufacturing processes, materials, and quality requirements
    • Experience with production scheduling, manpower planning, and shop floor resource allocation
    • Lean Manufacturing experience; Lean or auditing training preferred
    • Ability to lead, develop, and manage a diverse manufacturing workforce
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
    • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
