Position Overview:
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cross-departmental collaboration. This role combines leadership, engineering insight, and process management to ensure production goals are met and aligned with the company’s financial and operational objectives. The Production Manager will build systems that anticipate and resolve problems, balance resource allocation, and drive continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will bring a background in systems or process engineering, a track record of scaling operational functions, and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment between technical, production, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with all OSHA practices and safety standards at all times.
Coordinate quarterly safety walk-throughs with third-party consultants and implement recommendations.
Present safety findings, needs, and solutions to leadership on a regular basis.

Production Planning & Scheduling
Maintain a rolling 30-day production schedule and a detailed 7-day schedule
covering projects, materials, and team assignments.
Plan production resources in alignment with customer needs, pipeline projects,
and material availability.
Adjust staffing plans to support projected revenue and company growth.
Ensuring production deadlines and goals are hit monthly.

Operational Management
Monitor and report daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production numbers.
Track performance against goals (% to goal) and present reports to upper
management.
Proactively identify production issues and implement corrective action plans.
Ensure efficient workflows and adherence to goals, escalating issues when
required.

Cross-Department Collaboration
Coordinate with Sales to anticipate pipeline projects and align production
capacity.
Work closely with Purchasing and Customer Service to ensure timely material
availability.
Partner with Engineering to troubleshoot production challenges and propose
viable substitutions or process adjustments.

Financial & Strategic Impact
Understand how production costs affect EBITDA and propose improvements that
drive profitability.
Provide leadership with accurate projections for staffing and budgetary needs.
Administer departmental budgets and track variances.

Leadership & Communication
Lead production staff with professionalism and accountability, fostering a culture
aligned with the company's core values.
Resolve issues with other departments independently and productively.
When escalating to upper management, present at least one solution with each
problem.
Participate in 360-degree feedback reviews to give and receive constructive
input.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related) or
equivalent technical/leadership experience.
5+ years of experience in production or manufacturing leadership, preferably in
a systems-driven environment.
Strong background in safety compliance, scheduling, and process
management.
Demonstrated ability to interpret financial data (EBITDA, cost structures) and
align production operations accordingly.
Proficiency in ERP systems and production reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in LED, electronics, or related industries.
Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certification.
Proven ability to implement cross-department systems that improved efficiency
and reduced costs.

Success Profile:
The successful Production Manager will be an engineering-minded leader who thrives
on building systems, not just managing people. This individual will anticipate problems
before they occur, present solutions with clarity, and balance operational detail with
strategic impact. Above all, they will embody LUX dynamics’ core values, ensuring the
production floor runs safely, efficiently, and in complete alignment with company goals.

Why LUX dynamics?
This is a chance to help lead one of the most innovative lighting manufacturers in the
