Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Production Manager for a growing industrial equipment manufacturer which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience leading fabrication and assembly looking to further their career in manufacturing operations.
Lead daily production across metal fabrication, mechanical/electrical assembly, and shipping
Coach and develop 18 direct reports through monthly 1:1s and performance reviews
Drive on-time delivery, quality, and cost goals using KPIs and Lean/5S
Act as safety lead: preventive maintenance, forklift certifications, compliance
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning
Essential Qualifications
57+ years of manufacturing leadership managing supervisors and hourly teams; strong coaching skills
Experience overseeing fabrication and final assembly in industrial manufacturing
Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience); U.S. citizenship required
Bonus Qualifications
Custom/engineered-to-order manufacturing; Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO 9001
Safety committee or ERP experience (SAP Business ByDesign a plus)
