Description
Bilingual Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations across multiple production areas and two shifts. This role will oversee approximately 50 employees and multiple production supervisors while driving accountability, quality, output, and day-to-day execution.
The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing environment, be comfortable spending significant time on the production floor, and have strong experience with ISO 9001 documentation and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead approximately 50 employees across 1st and 2nd shift
- Manage and develop production supervisors across multiple manufacturing areas
- Maintain a strong floor presence and ensure employees and supervisors are held accountable
- Drive production performance related to safety, quality, output, efficiency, and labor utilization
- Support production involving:
- Heavy layer manufacturing
- Foam production
- Thermoforming and deep draw processes
- Bitumen/asphalt-based sound deadening products
- Ensure production documentation is accurate and compliant with ISO 9001
- Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations leadership
- Address downtime, production bottlenecks, quality concerns, staffing issues, and performance gaps
- Coach and develop supervisors and hourly employees
- Help maintain a disciplined, organized, and productive manufacturing environment
- Support continuous improvement efforts throughout the plant
Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Must have manufacturing experience
- Previous experience managing supervisors and hourly production teams
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, particularly documentation and compliance
- Experience supporting multiple shifts
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to take charge and hold employees accountable
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Rubber, foam, thermoforming, plastics, insulation, or similar manufacturing experience is preferred but not require
