Production Manager - Fabrication Department

Dakota Bodies is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our Fabrication Department. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe work environment, driving production efficiency, and delivering high-quality products that meet customer and company standards.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, hands-on knowledge of fabrication processes, and a proven track record of developing teams in a manufacturing setting. You'll play a key role in maintaining smooth material flow, meeting production targets, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles.
What You'll Do:
Lead and develop fabrication supervisors and production teams
Ensure safety standards and quality requirements are consistently met
Create and manage production schedules to meet deadlines
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance
Foster a respectful and positive team culture
Qualifications:
5+ years of supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Strong understanding of fabrication processes and production workflows
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or similar continuous improvement practices preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
