    Responsibilities:

    Purpose: The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee and maintain operations to ensure production, safety,
    quality and workflow efficiencies are met.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Directs, plans and coordinates activities relative to production, establishes priorities of product and workflow.
    • Oversees the selection of maintenance of equipment and determination of required resources.
    • Monitors production processes, adjusts or revises production schedules and priorities to accommodate
    business needs.
    • Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
    • Collaborates with other managers and leads to coordinate activities in and among departments.
    • Collects, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses production data.
    • Regularly inspects and evaluates products for quality and defects.
    • Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.
    • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best
    practices including those related to safety and health.
    • Ensure adequate scheduling of staff
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

     

    Leadership Responsibilities:


    • Lead and motivate team members through effective coaching & feedback.
    • Take charge & ownership of role – showing strong leadership and team development
    • Provide clear communication in terms of safety, productivity goals & targets
    • Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
    • Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or potential issues that could impact
    production.
    • Act as liaison between employees and managers

     

    Qualifications:

    Qualification Requirements:


    • Manufacturing Experience a must
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience within a Leadership role
    • A true Maverick & change agent driving a culture focused on teamwork and production efficiencies.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
    • Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies.
    • Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other
    effective manufacturing and distribution techniques.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


    Education:


    • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Manufacturing Management or Equivalent Education and
    Experience within Field.
