Production Manager - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a Leading Manufacturing Company located in Hondo, TX.

Compensation: $75,000 - $130,000 per year, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling an area of operation within a designated manufacturing facility. The focus will be on key performance measures including Safety, Quality, Schedule Attainment, Delivery, Productivity, and Budget to achieve operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages assigned manufacturing plant's equipment and associate capacity planning to determine and execute the production plan schedule
• Manages the evaluation of ideal plant layout to enhance safety and efficiency
• Evaluates the hiring, performance management, training, and staffing of assigned manufacturing plant positions
• Deploys new and updated work guidelines and instructions
• Manages the maintenance of the manufacturing plant's skills matrix, plans needed skills requirements, and deploys the training rotation schedule
• Ensures the execution of Environmental, Health and Safety procedures within the assigned area
• Monitors Key Performance Indicators, Payroll Budget, Inventory Control and Safety statistics and collaborates with the Plant Manager to implement corrective actions
• Participates in the company's Quality Management System (QMS) program
• Supports the Product Launch and Manufacturing Support departments in the deployment of new items, technologies or processes
• Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and urgency while managing multiple priorities

Primary Requirements:

• Associate's Degree; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• 3+ years progressive manufacturing, management or relevant technical experience
• Supervisory experience
• Intermediate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience demonstrating leadership and communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Project Management experience
