Position Overview The Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift is responsible for leading end-to-end execution of shift operations across all active work centers. This hands-on leadership role oversees production performance, staffing, quality, safety, and operational efficiency while maintaining an active presence on the production floor. The position requires strong technical knowledge of production equipment and the ability to lead, train, and support employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all 2nd shift production activities, ensuring production quotas, on-time completion, quality standards, and safe operations are achieved.
- Conduct shift handoffs, review work-in-process, machine status, staffing plans, safety updates, and production priorities.
- Monitor production floor operations, machine readiness, material availability, and adherence to production schedules.
- Prepare and communicate shift-end reports detailing production results, downtime, quality concerns, and outstanding items for the next shift.
Qualifications- Production and machinery experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual Spanish required.
- Current or recent experience working with screen printing, embroidery, DTF machines, and heat transfer equipment.
- Ability to supervise, train, and support employees operating production machinery.
Skills- Strong production floor leadership and employee management abilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot production equipment at a high level and support operational efficiency.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
