Summary of the Position
This position supervises and coordinates the activities of employees engaged in production and non-production activities in the manufacturing plant. Responsible for meeting productivity and quality standards, training and cross-training employees, conducting employee discipline as needed, planning work and material flow, maximizing output and efficiency, and managing orders for assigned employees. Responsible for expenditures for assigned departments.Develops a culture of Operational Excellence and embraces operational excellence principles.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Education and/or Experience
Associate's Degree in a technical or business field plus a minimum of 3 years' related supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, OR
A minimum of 5 years' related supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment and high school diploma or GED with a proven successful record of accomplishment.
