Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee the daily assembly and sewing operations within our flag and banner manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, operational expertise within the embroidery industry, and the ability to effectively manage production staff while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate production activities, optimize workflow, and collaborate cross-functionally with customer service and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily production operations for banner and flag assembly, sewing, and finishing processes.
• Supervise, lead, and support a production team of 20+ employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on banner and flag assembly, sewing, and finishing techniques.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure efficiency, minimize downtime, and prevent material shortages.
• Monitor workflow, productivity, and production output to meet operational goals and deadlines.
• Collaborate with customer service and sales departments to identify, address, and resolve product quality concerns and customer issues.
• Ensure all products meet company quality standards and production specifications.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to improve performance, safety, and operational effectiveness.
• Maintain compliance with workplace safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate should show roughly 3+ years in the same or similar production/plant-management role (5+ years preferred), or clear multi-year experience in the embroidery/textiles function.
• Experience in the embroidery industry is required.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Proven experience managing or overseeing a production team of 20 or more employees.
• Strong knowledge of sewing, assembly, and manufacturing production processes.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and inventory coordination.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in flag, banner, textile, or custom product manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and production workflow optimization.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and production facility environment.
• Requires standing, walking, and monitoring production operations throughout the shift.
• May occasionally require lifting materials and working around industrial sewing and production equipment.
